The SESAM team, led by Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümmügülsüm Zor, together with Deputy Directors Dr. Akın Özdemir and Dr. Hilal Erek İnce, visited the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Headquarters in Ankara. During the meeting, held with Dr. Şenay Özden and her team at AFAD, the proposed Re-Act project, currently being developed under the Horizon Europe Programme, was presented to AFAD as a potential project partner. The discussions provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and valuable feedback, contributing to the further development and strengthening of the project proposal. Following the meeting, the SESAM delegation was given a tour of the AFAD Headquarters and received detailed information about the institution's operational structure and emergency management system. The SESAM team extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Şenay Özden and the entire AFAD staff for their warm hospitality, valuable insights, and kind support throughout the visit.
